Festivities taking its toll ~
Festivities are all fun and lights-until it all settles. Between endless social gatherings, overeating and overspending, celebrations can leave you more drained than delighted. And all your work plans are thrown out of window. Late nights turn into groggy mornings and back-to-back social obligations can feel more like a marathon than a holiday. The joy is real, but so is the exhaustion-proof that even good times demand recovery time. Of course, none of this takes away from the beauty of festive traditions. The joy of celebrating with loved ones is worth every ounce of exhaustion. Still, it’s important to pause, breathe, and give ourselves permission to recover once the lights dim and the music fades. After all, festivities are meant to be cherished. In all of the chaos, I could only manage some bits of character sketches, expressions and work on poster and bits.
I plan on continuing, the previous work plans now that the Festivities are over and done with. So stay tuned! Thank you!
