“Art blocks are nothing in front of your determination.”
Even though I was not much motivated from inside i still wrote the script of this story and even though it was a great start but still I was not working on the pre-production from many days. But after consistently pushing myself to do zomething productive which means continue making this manga, after this art block which remained from months got away a few days back. That day started with me doing rough layouts for the main character of this story and even than i wasn’t much motivated but in evening i continued the designing part, After choosing 3 designs from the rough layouts,i drew 3 final drawings of the main character which were not a big deal but slowly I saw growth in my work and that’s how I started enjoying my manga creation again, And that evening to night session of work was the best until now because I designed the character sheet of my main character, So the passion I am feeling now is definitely gonna push me to work harder and i will do my best from now on.
This Week’s Lessons –
- TAKE ACTION INSTEAD OF OVERTHINKING:
Drawing is fun, wait it’s a fact right? But art block makes it really blurry, you feel like you don’t enjoy drawing anymore you don’t even want to start but it’s just a matter of starting and you will find you are slowly coming out of it. - THINKING POSITIVE IS ALWAYS BETTER :
So instead of thinking negative in every new situation happens, try to think positive aspects of that situation. - BELIEVE IN YOURSELF :
Instead of comparing yourself with anyone you should focus on your growth and improvement.
Next Week’s Goals :
- Finish all the character sheets,
- Make as much storyboards as possible
- Manage college and work
Yes now the vacation is over, from tomorrow my 2nd year of college is starting but don’t worry fellas i will still be consistent on my manga and giving regular updates here. Until then, Keep reading comics, keep creating new things.
