“Writer’s Dilemma” Manga Comic | 210 Rough Pages Completed
This week marked another significant milestone in my solo journey of creating Writer’s Dilemma, my metafiction, mystery-thriller manga comic. I pushed through and completed the next 50 rough works, bringing my total to 210 rough pages completed out of the planned 300. This means there are only 90 rough pages left before I move on to the next stage of production. Each page this week brought me closer to fully visualizing the pacing, tension, and atmosphere I’ve been imagining since day one. I’ve been especially focused on keeping the psychological tone intact, ensuring every scene not only moves the plot forward but also maintains the slow, immersive feel I want the readers to experience. Alongside the main project, I also completed a special illustration for Anime India — a vibrant and thematic Maid Café artwork that was a fun change of pace from the heavy tone of Writer’s Dilemma. It was refreshing to explore a lighter, playful style while still maintaining my artistic touch. With 210 rough pages behind me and 90 to go, I’m determined to keep up the momentum. The finish line for the rough draft stage is getting closer, and I can already feel the world of Writer’s Dilemma taking full shape.
