In an attempt to improve on the visual identity and narrative backdrop for the central narrative arc, I have been busy developing the side character designs this week. Also, I started designing a unique character for Inkbound to supply for Anime India’s Maid Cafe Booth. This is to express the design of the event whilst maintaining the overall theme of the project. To get a sense of continuity, I adjusted the color scheme for this group of characters and from there started to investigate the tones of the surrounding location. While also incorporating the character’s state of being, I also wanted the colors to further delineate the character’s place in the world.
