PREPARATIONS FOR ANOTHER EVENT
The Ota Tokyo event is in less than a week now, and the week went off hectically. All I could manage to do was to prepare some sketches and revisions this week. Indie Comix Fest was great, and I believe this will also be awesome. Another big part of prep was planning how I’d talk about the comic in person. I practised a short, casual pitch – nothing too rehearsed – just enough to confidently explain what the story is about and why I care about it. I also prepped a few talking points for readers who wanted to know more about the process or inspiration behind it. Besides, it’s all about being ready, so let’s go! Yet there have been a lot more preparations to get done and not much time left. Next week, I’ll be at the event, and a lot of time will be spent on travelling (since it’s too far). Anyway, see you next time!
