Project: Stranded
Summary:
Work on my comic has started again, and I made a major decision, I started redoing 20 some storyboards. This was mainly due to 2 reasons: I was not at all happy with my previous iterations, and they were made with poor planning
and contributed nothing to the page in a productive way. I believe panels and how an image in a page is presented needs to have its own personality which was missing from my storyboards. I looked at Hayden Sherman’s work on Absolute Wonder Woman, and it hit me. I started making bite sized 2-3 cm sized Thumbnails which I make much bigger digitally, this workflow has worked much better for me, and I feel rejuvenated to complete the storyboarding process over the month or two. After dedicating the next week to storyboards, I plan to work on a promotional art for my comic.
